Wind Resistant Design

Open fires struggle in windy conditions. The wind blows the heat away from your pot and makes the fire burn unevenly. A rocket stove's enclosed combustion chamber is naturally wind-resistant. There is no assembly required. Place the stove on a flat surface, add small pieces of dry wood, light it, and you are cooking in 3 to 4 minutes. For camping trips where you arrive at the site and want hot food quickly, this matters.

Safety Outdoors
